Over the years, Wayne Villavaso Landscape Architecture, Inc. (WVLA) has been involved in many South Florida projects. Projects in progress or recently completed include the Marina Palms, Dezer Office Tower, West Palm Beach Water Treatment Plant, Wellington’s Tennis Facility & Community Center, South Florida Fair Exposition Hall Expansion, Norton Museum of Art, Armory Art Center Youth Facility, Marriott CityPlace, The Moorings (Lantana Landing), Fire Stations #’s 2, 3, 5, 7 & 8 for the City of West Palm Beach, Colony Preserve, Hamlet on Olde Oyster Bay, Mizner Lakes (Lakes @ Palm Beach), Marina Grande, Phipps Park, Howard Park and the Port of Palm Beach Gateway just to name a few. Streetscapes include State Road A1A on Singer Island, Rosemary Avenue, Australian Ave., Belvedere Road East of I-95, North Flagler Drive, Northwood Road and Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. WVLA has also applied successfully for many State & County Grants for various municipalities.
In designing these projects, WVLA coordinates closely with the Client and/or the Agency’s Planning & Engineering Staff to meet the project criteria. WVLA has developed specific expertise in mixed use, multi-family, governmental and commercial design, and maintains an excellent working relationship with our Clients and Governmental Agencies.
WVLA’s President, Mr. Wayne Villavaso brings more than 42 years of South Florida professional experience to each project. He has been a Florida Registered Landscape Architect and Land Planner since 1981, and worked as a Design/Build Landscape Contractor for 7 years. He is a Registered Landscape Architect in Florida. Mr. Villavaso received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University and is a Member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Wane Villavaso Landscape Architecture, Inc. is CCNA certified with Palm Beach County and the City of West Palm Beach is certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the City of West Palm Beach. Our firm is pre-qualified and certified as a Small Business as a Consultant with the Florida Department of Transportation.
Mr. Villavaso has worked with owners, developers, designers, and contractors to design and/or install projects throughout Florida and the United States. His sustainable design and on-site construction experience as well as his knowledge of landscape & hardscape material use, availability and costs has served his clients well including the project’s present and future needs.
Mr. Villavaso takes great pride in working closely with his Clients to design for their unique needs within specified budget, while maintaining quality and superior workmanship in the finished project.
